Dr. Yoon founded her solo practice in order to provide quality, one-on-one care to help her patients heal quickly and effectively. All patients are evaluated and treated exclusively by a board-certified hand and upper extremity orthopedic surgeon.

“I used to belong to a high-volume practice that felt like a conveyer belt,” Dr. Yoon explains. “When I opened this practice, I wanted to avoid that type of atmosphere.”

This individualized approach to patient care extends to both nonoperative and operative treatment options, depending on the nature and severity of the orthopedic problem. There are many upper extremity conditions that require operative intervention in order to optimize patient outcomes. Dr. Yoon is board certified and fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity orthopedic surgery to maximize successful outcomes for these surgical candidates. However, there are also some upper extremity conditions that can be treated nonoperatively with a high chance of healing or resolution of the problem. Dr. Yoon utilizes her knowledge and experience to provide a comprehensive treatment plan that best suits each individual patient's expectations.

Another advantage of Dr. Yoon’s practice is that fluoroscopic mini C-arm imaging can be performed on-site, rather than sending patients to another facility, which is an added convenience for patients. This type of imaging modality provides less radiation exposure than a traditional X-ray.

Patients can rest assured their care is being delivered by a highly trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon – not by assistants or other staff.
